At Hyatt Regency McCormick Place, we know that planning for a wedding raises a lot of questions - from the food to the festivities. Our modern luxury hotel in Chicago features beautiful ballrooms, enhanced with creative catering and an events team that caters to your every desire. If you have some questions, we have the answers!

Q: Can I create my own menu?

A: Yes, our food and beverage experts are happy to create a menu that reflects your wishes. Our experienced team will work with you to fulfill your requests.

Q: Can I taste all the food before the wedding?
A: Of course. A complete tasting of all the selected menu items, including your cake, will be scheduled with your Hyatt Wedding Coordinator and our Executive Chef several weeks prior to your wedding. At that time, we can make any necessary adjustments.

Q: How long will my reception last?
A: Generally, a wedding reception is planned for four hours. You can extend the time if desired. Your Hyatt Wedding Coordinator will advise any additional costs for the additional time.

Q: Can I have an open bar at the wedding?
A: You can elect to have an open bar, a limited selection of wine and beer, or a cash bar. Your Hyatt Wedding Coordinator will advise you on the costs and inclusions for each.

Q: Do you have suggested vendors for flowers, music, photography, etc?
A: We work on a regular basis with several vendors. Contact your Hyatt Wedding Coordinator directly for the more recommendations.

Q: Can I host a morning-after brunch or a rehearsal dinner at Hyatt Regency McCormick Place?
A: Certainly. We have several event venues for these memorable moments.

Q: Are taxes and gratuities included in the pricing?
A: No, tax and service charges will be added onto the listed wedding package prices once selected. Please remember, pricing is not final until a signed contract is returned.

Q: Can my guests have a late check-out the morning after the wedding?
A: We will try and accommodate your guests' requests; however, this will be dependent upon the overall occupancy of the hotel on the day in question.

Q: Can I decorate the reception room?
A: Generally, yes. There will be certain limitations in some rooms, which your Hyatt Wedding Coordinator can review with you. Allow us to give you ideas and suggestions that have successfully worked in the past.
